Hey Everyone!
Last week, Elder
Schick and I decided to go and work in other missionaries areas in every zone.
You just need to lift up the missionaries a bit and get them a little more
encouraged. The first area we worked in was the Valencia, sister’s area. It was
pretty good we found them 5 potential investigators. Next we worked in the
Valencia, elder’s area. Let me tell you the Lord's hand is definitely in this
work. The Valencia elders gave us an apartment complex to go and work in. We
parked and just kind of knocked this section by where we parked. Talked to one
person and got a potential. We decided to walk around a bit trying to follow
the spirit. We went to the middle of the complex and just decided to go in and
get lost. We knocked for a little bit and we talked to no one. We decided to
say another prayer and started walking. We went this way and that way, and
there was this sidewalk that split two ways. I said," let’s go right, no
left." Elder Schick was like, "well you said right first so let’s go
that way." After a few yards it didn't look like it went anywhere, but we
kept going anyway. We found another small section of apartments. 7 doors no
answer, and the very last door we knocked on... boom. We got let in. This guy,
Jonathan was super sick. He is in his 20's. He has had friends go on missions.
He is a lot like me. He loves disney, games, he is a teacher, and he is half
filipino. It was pretty funny. We taught him the restoration. It was pretty
cool. At the end we told him we know that this can bless and change his life,
and he said, I know, I've seen it bless my friends’. He said next time he was
going to invite this less active girl he knows.
That was in the elders
area though so they will teach him, but it was super cool just helping out
these other missionaries, seeing miracles and just seeing how excited they are
when we tell them about it. It was a good time working in other
areas. There were a ton of other miracles last week, but I'm too lazy
to type them up, and I can just tell you when I get home so see you then!
Love you!
Love Elder Larman
Just the odds of that
happening though right? Come on. The church is true.
