Hey Everyone!
Last week was an
extremely busy week, a week before transfers. So, today we have 50 new
missionaries coming in! That's crazy! In the last 12 weeks we have had 120 new
missionaries come in, and today we will be at 205 new missionaries so, that's
60% of the mission that has been out 12 weeks or less. When I first became zone
leader in this zone - including us, there were only 14 missionaries in the zone.
As of tomorrow, we will have 24 missionaries in the zone, a majority
of them being new! This is crazy. We are going to have to figure this out now.
Logistically, it's already impossible, because we have two cars for elders and
18 elders so, yeah... yeah. You know what I mean.
Anyway, we did a lot
more administrative than ministering stuff last week. We are opening three new
areas. Last week, we opened and moved in two of them. We still haven't moved in
the last one, and transfers are tomorrow... so yeah. We did find a new
investigator yesterday though. It was awesome. Basically, every apartment
complex around here is gated and locked. So, I just pressed a random one of the
buzzer things to see if the person would let us in, and... someone did. We were
like cool why not, and we taught the lady who let us in the complex! She is
going through really hard times and just lost her kids and we read the Book of
Mormon with her and it was awesome, we would see her again on Wednesday,
but our area is getting split and she lives in the new area. So yeah, but it
was cool. Anyway, we have to go help with the new missionaries coming in and
take them finding. Next week then! I love you
Love Elder Larman
