Hello there!

This last transfer was so much fun. Being in a tripanionship is actually pretty cool, and teaching is not as hard as you would think it is, actually, kind of easier. Being a district leader was awesome. I love serving and lifting up other missionaries. It brings so much joy.

So transfers are tomorrow. I spent 6 months in my first area and only 6 weeks in my second and I'm getting transferred again. President Hall has asked me to be a Zone Leader. I'm excited to serve even more missionaries now. I love helping other missionaries, it is so great. I love serving a mission. It is such an amazing experience.

This last week we didn't get to see everyone we wanted to, but we did teach 3 lessons. They all went very well. It was a good last week with this companionship.  We all learned a lot from each other and now it is time to move on.

Off topic stuff, there had been some crazy things happening in California. Over in Ventura there is a huge wild fire. When we heard about it last Thursday, we heard it had already gone through 7000 acres. Then pretty close to our apartment the other day, there was a shooting. Some homeless guy robbed a liquor store and the cops came. He shot one, so they tried to take him out. They got him in the arm, but he got away. So crazy! When we passed the area the local neighbor hoods were on lockdown some streets were closed and there were like 16 cops with shotguns, pistols and assault rifles. This kind of stuff never happened around Minnesota.

Anyway, more exciting mission news, right now we have 250 missionaries in our mission. When the mission splits on July 1st we will only be San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys (if I stay in this mission) and we will still have 220 missionaries. So what this means is that 60% of the English wards will have a set of Elder's and a set of Sister's. The Lord is really hastening the work it’s exciting. Hope everyone is doing great. Love you.

Love Elder Larman
