Sorry, short letter this week.

Hi,

Wow! Guess what!? Since conference there had been 14,000 missionary applications! These next 2 transfers we are getting 60 new missionaries. The Lord is hastening His work. This mission currently has 190 missionaries and they changed it to 250.

I don't think I remembered to tell you last time that I got chased by a dog my first day! How exciting! So the stake president is in the ward I'm serving in and I had dinner at his house. He was talking about how the stake as a whole gets like 40 baptisms a year, but Rancho Vista gets like maybe 1. I say, never lower your expectations. If you raise your expectations you effectiveness will increase. This ward has not had a baptism this year, but we have like 7 progressive investigators, 4 investigators and just picked up a new one this last week and we have been here for 2 weeks now, I think we’re doing good.

So it's been exciting, biking is getting easier but my back tire tore yesterday. I’m still going to get fixed today, so this it for now. Going to get my camera, I think, I took one picture.

Love,
Elder Larman
