18 year old young men
and 19 year old young women can now serve missions. What a wonderful announcement.
The MTC was very loud when that was said. The calling of a full time missionary
is the best call you could receive. I
encourage the youth to start preparing now. Ask the missionaries they can help!
What a great talk. I was loving it until I realized I was the missionary and I
needed to know how to use family search.
We had a great Sunday fireside this last Sunday.
We had Chad Lewis the super bowl winning retired NFL player. He was so good
didn't get to meet him though. Then I got to usher for the Tuesday devotional, so we got to know who it was a little bit earlier.
So the guy told us and he was like "Elder Bednar." and in my head I
was thinking asjdfbjksaghdfjksagdvjavsdfkg. Oh my gosh his first name is elder
too! No, but seriously it was awesome
but weird because he didn't really give a talk he actually like taught us, it was like we were just in class and he was
the teacher. Also since we ushered we got
the best seats.
Our TRC progressive investigator this week was
awesome. I use to dread going to teach this guy because he never talked or
anything (this is the one I was talking about last time that we really messed
up on). Well, last night was our last time with him and it was so amazing. I actually don't want to leave. I want to keep
teaching him. This is the first investigator, not including less actives that I
have truly felt love for. Pres. Naatjes was right, one of the hardest part of
being a full time missionary is when you leave the investigators, you worry
about them. I will be leaving MTC next week, Wednesday, the 17th to
my assigned mission in California and am kind of sad. Anyway, say hi to everyone. That’s it for now.
Love,
Elder Larman
