Hey
everyone,
Last week was the
first p-day after transfers, so everyone was talking, getting to know each
other, so I got distracted. I'm not really sure what I wrote last week, so I
might repeat things this week. Anyway, I don't think I told you guys, but I
played on a piano owned by Queen Elizabeth II. It was awesome, and I got a
picture of the piano.
I talked about
Anna and Irene last week, the two Russian girls. Anna is 14, Irene is 11. We
are still teaching them and they are receiving the message very well. They
are still planning on being baptized on December 23. We had a baptismal date
this week on the 15th, but I don't think it will happen, we haven't seen him
for maybe more than 3 weeks now.
We did a lot of
tracting this last week. Let me tell you, if you ever need to go to the
bathroom while tracting, stop to smell the roses. We tracted both sides of this
whole street and when we were done, I'm like, I have to go to the bathroom, and
I did, and right as we were about to leave the street, I saw a bunch of roses
and I was like WAIT, I wanted to have a picture of me smelling the roses. So,
we went over, took the picture and then a car pulled in the house next to us.
We went over and talked to her, her name is Patricia. We talked to her about
Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon, we talked to her for about an hour, when
we were done she told us, I know everything you said is true because the Holy
Spirit told me, BOOM! How awesome is that?
We have a teaching appointment with her tonight.
Our church starts at
1pm, so yesterday we decided to go tracting in the morning. We went from 10am-12pm.
There were two girls who let us in and we shared with them a Christmas message about
Christ’s birth and they were awesome too. We have an appointment with them
this upcoming Sunday. So, we got 3 new investigators from tracting
last week. Also, right when I got in the field, I talked about two girls named
Eileen and Ronny. Well, we went to a less active member’s house and they are
apparently good friends with Eileen and Ronny. We talked to them about going to
church. Yesterday, they came and brought Eillen and Ronny with them. So it’s been a pretty good week.
I hope all of you have
a merry Christmas and remember what we celebrate.
